Class excursion to the State Archives

Please be advised that due to low numbers we will not be meeting for lunch prior to the tour. I will see you all at Gepps Cross. Details have been provided to all students in my email dated 02/10/2013



I am very happy to announce a class excursion to the Gepps Cross Research Centre has been organised.  You will have an opportunity to take a look at "behind the scenes" of an archive and get to see some of South Australia's history!  

Details of the excursion are:

WHEN: Tuesday, October 15th
WHERE: Foyer - Gepps Cross Repository, 115 Cavan Road, Gepps Cross 5094
TIME: 2:30pm - 4:00pm
RSVP: email/phone Melisa OR post comment on blog, by 2nd October

In addition to the tour it was suggested that we have a lunch prior to visiting Gepps Cross. 

Details of the lunch were provided in my email sent on 10 September.  

Please be advised that students are required to make their own way to and from Gepps Cross/lunch as transportation is not supplied.  You may wish to "car pool" with fellow students or meet us there. 

Either way can you please advise of your intentions if you are planning to attend the lunch and or the tour.  Also can you please advise if you are willing to carpool, & from which location.  For example:
  • City to Gepps Cross (not attending the lunch)
  • City to lunch spot then to Gepps
  • Gepps to City

    I wish I could come, but its just too far to travel.

      Hi Rose,
      I dont drive but if Joy comes along to the excursion i think she was happy to drive and i can check and see if ok to take you too :) Ta Maija R

    Hi Everyone,

    Leanne Noack and I will be attending the lunch then the Gepps Cross Research Centre. We will probably try to make our own way there... But if someone else could give us a lift to and from that would be wonderful!

    Hi Everyone,

    Leanne has been granted approval to drive us to and from the Gepps Cross Research Centre in her car. She also asked me to kindly extended the offer to anyone still needing a lift. Maybe Maija or Rose is you are still needing a ride?
